Questions

What kind of photo should I use?

A sharp, well-lit photo with their whole head in frame works best. Phone photos are perfect. If your photo is too small for a crisp print, we'll tell you before we print.

Can I see the portrait before it's printed?

Yes. Your portrait proof is emailed within 2 business days after we receive your payment and a usable pet photo. You can ask for a change (one round of changes is included), and we send your set to print only after you approve your design by email. If we don't hear back, we'll send you a reminder: your silence never counts as approval. If we still have no approval by day 21 after payment, we cancel your order and refund you in full.

How long does delivery take?

There are three steps. First, we email your portrait proof within 2 business days; production starts when you approve it. Then our print partner makes your set, usually in 2–5 business days. Finally, US carrier transit time depends on your address. Your set ships free, in up to 2 packages with separate tracking. These are estimates, not guarantees. If we expect a delay, we'll tell you and let you choose to wait or cancel for a full refund.

Why does my order arrive in two packages?

Mugs are produced and packed separately by our print partner, so your mug and ornament may arrive a day or two apart.

Will it arrive before Christmas?

We can't promise delivery by a specific date. Each set is made to order: production starts only after you approve your proof, then our print partner's production and carrier times apply, and both run slower in December. Order and approve your proof early for the best chance; we'll share our latest estimate with your proof. Your HD digital portrait is emailed as soon as you approve your proof, so you'll always have something to give.

What is your return policy?

Every set is made just for you, so we can't take back an item that matches the proof you approved just because you changed your mind. If anything arrives damaged, defective or misprinted, or your package is lost, contact us within 30 days of delivery (or of the estimated delivery date for a lost package). Include a photo when you can. We'll send a free replacement or give you a refund, whichever you prefer. This doesn't limit any rights you have under applicable law.

What happens to my photo?

Your photo is uploaded to private storage and used only to create your portrait. Our print partner receives the finished print files it needs to make your order. We never show your photo publicly or use it in our marketing without your written permission. Photos that aren't linked to an order are deleted automatically after 3 days. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Can I include two pets?

Not yet — each set features one pet.

How big are the mug and the ornament?

The mug is a white glossy 11 oz ceramic mug, about 3.8 in (9.6 cm) tall and 3.2 in (8.2 cm) wide, dishwasher and microwave safe. The ornament is natural hinoki wood, about 5 x 3.4 in (12.7 x 8.6 cm) and about 0.37 in (9 mm) thick, with a red paper ribbon. Sizes can vary slightly because the wood is natural.
